Your First Billion ISK

The alliance would rather you can pay for your own ships than depend on a free-ship fund. The good news is that in faction warfare your first billion ISK takes a few dedicated evenings, not a month.
Your first billions come from running plexes, not from optimizing the LP store.
What plexes pay
Loyalty points (LP) are what faction warfare pays out. The alliance loyalty desk buys Tribal Liberation Force LP. When this guide was written the rate was 700 ISK per LP. Check the Loyalty Points page for today's rate.

About 60 to 65 solo Small NVY-1 frontline plexes add up to one billion ISK. LP values change with CCP balance passes. The current table is in Faction Warfare Complexes.
The path
1. Plex small and medium frontlines
Fly a cheap Tech I or Navy destroyer or cruiser, find a frontline system, and run Small and Medium NVY plexes. If you cannot read a plex name yet, start with Faction Warfare Essentials.
2. First ~250 million: sell LP to the alliance
Sell your LP on the Loyalty Points desk. At 700 ISK per LP, 250 million ISK is about 360,000 LP.
The desk fills smaller and newer orders first. That is deliberate: new players are meant to get paid. You do not need a big stack before you sell.
3. First billion: keep plexing
Keep running plexes. Your hourly income is worth far more than squeezing an extra few percent out of each LP.
Once you have some capital, you can try converting LP yourself on high-volume offers. The alliance's conversion coaching starts people on Navy Cap Booster 3200s. The Faction Warfare Loyalty Points guide walks through it.
Moving goods
Do not haul a billion ISK of goods yourself. Use freight:
- Alliance freight, priced with the freight calculator, for Amamake routes.
- A public freight service for Amamake to Jita and other trade hubs.
Not week-one plans
These are real, but they are not how you make your first billion:
- Maximizing the LP store. It needs capital and market knowledge you do not have yet.
- Multiboxing for skill extractors. Guides exist in Discord. It is a long game.
