Home Base: Three Discords and Amamake
Onboarding · Day One
Welcome to Minmatar Fleet. Day one has one goal: get on comms and get on a fleet. This guide covers where everything lives. The next one, Your First Fleet, gets you undocked.
You do not need to read anything else today. Tribes, industry, certificates, and doctrine theory can wait until you have flown with us.
Three Discords
New members get lost here more than anywhere else. You will end up in three Discord servers, and each one has a different job.
| Discord | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Corp Discord | Your home. Social chat, hangar access, and your corp's own culture and programs. |
| Alliance Discord | #pings, #schedule, the Fleet 1 and Fleet 2 voice channels, and strategic ops. This is where alliance fleets form. |
| Militia Discord | The wider Minmatar faction warfare war, including standing fleet. Other groups are here too. |
Being in the same voice channel does not make you the same organization. Militia comms are shared with pilots outside the alliance, so treat them as public.
If an alliance voice channel is renamed CHECK MILITIA COMMS, the content has moved to the militia Discord. Go there.
Getting your roles
Roles in the Alliance and Militia Discords come from my.minmatar.org after your characters are linked. You do not ask for them.

- Wait up to 120 minutes for roles to sync.

The militia Discord invite is on your account page. If you came through the Academy, it is the same server as the Academy invite.
Staging: Amamake
The alliance stages out of the Amamake Keepstar. Fleets form there, the market you will use is there, and freight runs there.
Live in Amamake. Do not live in Jita and commute. If your ships are in Jita, every fleet starts with a trip across lowsec, and you will skip fleets because of it.
Moving your stuff
- Use the alliance freight calculator to price a move to Amamake.
- The freighter tribe moves cargo for members.
- Do not haul expensive cargo yourself in a hauler you cannot afford to lose. Lowsec is full of wrecks from players who tried.
You do not need to move everything today. A couple of cheap combat ships at Amamake is enough for your first fleet.
Check your enlistment
Open the Faction Warfare window in game and confirm you show as Tribal Liberation Force. You only earn faction warfare loyalty points while enlisted.
Standings and enlistment changes can apply late, and the game UI does not always refresh when they do. If something looks wrong, open a #help ticket before assuming you are broken.
End of day one
You are set up when:
- You are in your corp, Alliance, and Militia Discords.
- Your roles are showing in the Alliance Discord.
- You have at least one cheap ship in Amamake.
- You know where
#pingsis.
