Mining
In the chaos of New Eden, while wars rage and fleets clash, there are those who work in silence. They don’t seek glory on killboards. They don’t chase headlines. They extract minerals so that we may build our ships.
Executive Overview
The Mining & Industry SIG is a strategic capability and a fun social group. Its mandate is simple: convert controlled space into predictable income, material security, and fleet readiness. We exist to remove industrial and logistical constraints so the alliance can operate at full tempo during both peace and conflict (and everything in between).
Current assets under SIG management
1× R64 Moon! More to come in the future
~4 additional alliance controlled moons, Critical Sov Arrays generating key mineral anomalies
Integrated Industrial Park
Raitaru – subcapital production, reactions, invention, and efficiency manufacturing
Athanor – moon extractions and reactions
Azbel (incoming) – capital, advanced, and alliance-scale production
This SIG prioritizes discipline, throughput, and reliability. Output matters so that the Alliance has ships on contract at a reasonable cost.
Strategic Functions
Resource Control & Extraction
Scheduled moon pulls and anomaly mining executed with standardized fleet procedures.
Consistent use of boosts, compression, and optimized positioning to maximize yield.
Industrial asset awareness and timer creation (moons) aligned with alliance defense planning.
Industrial Manufacturing
Local refining and reactions to minimize export loss and market exposure.
Production of doctrine ships, modules, capital components, and structure materials.
Forward-looking manufacturing based on alliance demand forecasts, not reactive shortages.
Logistics & Supply Chain
Efficient movement of high-volume materials between extraction, refinement, and production nodes.
Reduced dependency on external markets and jump freighter capacity.
Maintenance of strategic stockpiles to support sustained operations and rapid replacement.
Operational Risk Management
Continuous intel coverage and defined escalation/dock procedures.
Loss prevention through discipline, not risk aversion.
Coordination with standing fleets and alliance command during hostile presence.
Strategic Value to the Alliance
Cost Control: Local sourcing materially reduces alliance operating expenses.
Readiness: Ships and components are available when fleet commanders need them.
Stability: R64-backed income and scale mining provide predictable cash flow.
Tempo: Fewer logistical delays, fewer last-minute scrambles, faster response.
Well-run industry is invisible when it works. That is the goal.
Membership Criteria
Membership is selective but pragmatic. Candidates must demonstrate:
30 days in alliance
Financial capacity to self-fund and replace industrial assets (mining ships)
Comfort operating in low/null-sec environments (be able to look at local chat every few minutes)
Willingness to operate within defined procedures and schedules (feel free to schedule and ping!)
This SIG values responsiveness and accountability over egos.
Member Expectations
Members are expected to:
Participate in scheduled operations when available
Adhere strictly to fleet positioning, safety, and extraction standards
Avoid behaviors that degrade collective efficiency (e.g., cherry-picking - DON'T)
Contribute to local production and stocking initiatives
Support alliance readiness throu consistent, reliable output
We will respect each other's time by executing well.
What Members Gain
Priority access to high-value moons and industrial infrastructure
Organized operations with minimal downtime and clear leadership
Preferential access to locally produced ships and components
Participation in a SIG focused on results, not noise
Participation
Interested pilots should join the SIG channel, review standing procedures, and engage with leadership. This SIG builds the material foundation that enables alliance-level decision-making and combat power.
